`MY LIFE STORY
11:14 PM
HOME SWEET HOME! i think everyone should really go and experience that kind of life. haha.. yes i treasure everything more now. please lah, even my tv looks different to me now. it looks BIGGER HAHHAHA.. bottom line is, i love how clean singapore is i love my home i love everything i have! :)
BUT i really have to complain about some stuff. first they delay our flight home. then Phnom Penh airport only reports the delay at the original check in time. now how inefficient is that? everybody confirmed in the morning w information from Singapore that the flight has been delayed.. and then they never apologise for the delay. haha. the pilot should have said something or what.
and then i dumbly forgot to put my scissors in my check in lugguage so the person stopped me and ROBBED my scissors! HAHA.. actually they can put my scissors and safety pins (yes they took that bunch too) on the flight and give me a tag whatsoever so i can collect it when the plane touches down in sin. isn't that the norm? oh well. who can blame a budget airline in a third world country? haha..
the worst of it all i think was that cheekopek man at the airport! he's the check ur passport man. oh gosh. disgusting! luckily i wasn't in that queue. lets see if diy blogs about it. haha. it isn't very friendly to harass visitors to ur country is it?
see, i never complain about life there! HAHA.. actually anybody can live there. it isn't that bad. unless u're really those kinda da xiao jie..
OH but i do have to say Cambodia has her assets too! the sunset is amazing! u can never see that in Singapore. the big red sun.. u can see the whole thing going down. AND the stars are the BEST la! it's like those type u see in the tv shows.. the one that looks so exaggerated and fake. but it really exists! lol i mean it was stunning. i didn't stay up long enough to see the meteor shower (it occurs everyday!) though. :( haha. the stars are more mesmerizing there cuz the whole place has no street lights and its pitch black so u can see the stars very clearly! :)
i'm not as attached to the kids as the rest are so i didn't cry when we left. haha. but what really touched me was when this girl came and gave me the tightest hug anyone ever gave me and told me she missed me when we came back from well drilling. actually the kids all cling on to you like they never want you to leave.
and when i was down with a sorethroat and didn't feel like talking and i just sat there, this cute lil boy came over, "sister why u so sad? sister u cry? i see sister you look very sad".. so sweet hor? hahaha and i patiently told him i felt sick and he asked, "sister u don't want to talk?" so i explained again i had a sorethroat. but still he asked "why u don't want to talk?" hahahah.. i just smiled :) so cute la they all.
sleep time. can't fall sick now! goodnight world. pictures next time. :)
don't take anything for granted! whatever it is u'll still have your family! :)
hey afterall, this comes from someone who has survived 1 week of living in the poorest province of the kingdom of Cambodia! :D
God bless them all.
